Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at theunboredclub.com and your engagement with the services provided by Wander with Passion Private Limited (trading as The Unbored Club).
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry form, or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

About Our Services
The Unbored Club provides two categories of service:
- India Travel: bespoke, fully customised travel itineraries across India for individual travellers, couples, families, small groups, and international travel companies. Services include route planning, accommodation sourcing, private transfers, guided experiences, and end-to-end trip coordination.
- Retreats: design, planning, and operational support for yoga, wellness, and expert-led retreats across Asia, in partnership with retreat facilitators, teachers, and brands.
All services are provided subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of a signed proposal or booking confirmation and the required deposit.

Enquiries & Bookings
Enquiry stage
Submitting an enquiry form on our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. It is an invitation for us to contact you and begin a consultation. No commitment or payment is required at this stage.
Proposal and confirmation
Once we have discussed your requirements, we will provide a detailed written proposal. A booking is confirmed only when:
- You have reviewed and accepted the proposal in writing (email acceptance is sufficient); and
- We have received the required deposit payment (typically 25–50% of the total trip cost, as specified in your proposal).
Accuracy of information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to us (names as per passports, dates of birth, dietary requirements, medical conditions, travel preferences) is accurate and complete. We cannot be held liable for errors arising from inaccurate information provided by you.

Pricing & Payment
All prices are quoted in the currency specified in your proposal (typically USD, EUR, or INR) and are valid for the period stated therein. Prices are subject to change until a deposit is received.
Payment schedule
- Deposit: as specified in your proposal (typically 25–50%), due on booking confirmation.
- Final balance: typically due 30–60 days before travel, as specified in your proposal.
- Late bookings (within 30 days of travel): full payment may be required at confirmation.
Payment methods
We accept bank transfer, and payments via our authorised payment gateway partners. Payment card data is processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store card details.
Currency and charges
International bank transfers and currency conversions may incur charges from your bank. These charges are your responsibility. We will confirm receipt of your payment in writing.
GST
Goods and Services Tax (GST) may be applicable on services provided within India, in accordance with Indian tax law (GST No. 33AADCW8600J1ZB). This will be clearly stated in your invoice.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to connect@theunboredclub.com.
90 or more days before travel: Full deposit refund, less any non-refundable third-party costs incurred (e.g. non-refundable hotel deposits, airline fees).
60–89 days before travel: 50% of total trip cost is non-refundable.
30–59 days before travel: 75% of total trip cost is non-refundable.
Fewer than 30 days before travel: 100% of total trip cost is non-refundable.
Cancellation by The Unbored Club
In rare circumstances (force majeure, natural disaster, civil unrest, or other events beyond our control), we may need to cancel or significantly alter a trip. In such cases, we will offer you the choice of an alternative trip of comparable value, a credit for future travel, or a full refund of amounts paid to us, less any non-recoverable third-party costs.
Force majeure
We shall not be liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic declarations, acts of government, civil unrest, terrorist activity, or significant adverse weather.
Retreat-specific terms
Retreat bookings may be subject to additional cancellation terms as specified in your individual retreat agreement, which shall prevail over this general policy where they conflict.

Travel Documentation
You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, including:
- A valid passport with at least 6 months' validity beyond your intended travel dates;
- The appropriate visa(s) for India and any other countries on your itinerary;
- Any required vaccinations, health certificates, or entry requirements;
- Travel insurance documentation (see Section 7).
We will provide general guidance on visa and entry requirements as a courtesy, but this is not legal advice. Requirements change frequently and you must verify them with the relevant embassy, consulate, or government authority before travel.
We accept no liability for any loss, delay, or expense arising from failure to obtain or hold the required documentation.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to confirming a booking. Your policy should cover, at minimum:
- Trip cancellation and curtailment;
- Medical emergencies and evacuation;
- Loss or theft of luggage and personal belongings;
- Personal liability;
- Delays and missed connections.
We do not act as an insurance provider or broker. We cannot be held responsible for any loss that adequate insurance would have covered.

Our Responsibilities
We will:
- Use reasonable skill and care in designing, planning, and coordinating your travel experience;
- Communicate clearly and promptly throughout the booking process and during travel;
- Work with reputable, vetted accommodation providers, guides, and transport operators;
- Provide 24/7 emergency contact support during your trip;
- Handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We act as a travel curator and coordinator. We do not own or operate hotels, airlines, transport vehicles, or activity venues, and we are not directly responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party service providers, except to the extent that we have been negligent in selecting them.

Your Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at all stages of your booking;
- Inform us promptly of any medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, or special requirements that may affect your travel;
- Behave respectfully towards our team, local guides, accommodation staff, and local communities;
- Comply with local laws, customs, and cultural norms at all destinations;
- Follow the reasonable instructions of our guides and representatives during your trip;
- Ensure all members of your travelling party (including minors) are covered by adequate travel insurance.
We reserve the right to terminate a trip arrangement without refund if your behaviour endangers the safety of others or is deemed inappropriate.

Third-Party Providers
Your travel experience will involve services provided by independent third parties, including hotels, transport companies, airlines, guides, activity operators, and restaurants. These providers operate under their own terms and conditions, which may include their own liability limitations.
While we carefully vet our partners, we cannot guarantee the actions or standards of third-party providers. Any complaints or issues with a third-party provider should be raised directly with them in the first instance, and reported to us promptly so we can assist in resolution.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites.

Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, photography, graphics, logos, itinerary documents, and design — is the property of Wander with Passion Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our content for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use (e.g. saving an itinerary for your own travel) is permitted.
The name "The Unbored Club" and associated logos are trademarks of Wander with Passion Private Limited.

Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems;
- Use the website to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content;
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from our website without written permission;
- Use any automated tools to interact with our website without our prior consent.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website for any user who violates these Terms.
Our website is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. We are not liable for any damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific trip or service giving rise to the claim.
- We shall not be liable for indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profit, or loss of enjoyment, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- We are not liable for loss, injury, or damage caused by third-party service providers, force majeure events, or your own acts or omissions.
Note for EU/EEA and UK residents: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory local consumer-protection law.

Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
For EU / EEA residents
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have access to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
For UK residents
UK consumers may also refer disputes to the UK alternative dispute resolution schemes. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these Terms.
Amicable resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at connect@theunboredclub.com so that we may attempt to resolve the dispute amicably.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice via our website or email.
Your continued use of our website or services after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For bookings already confirmed, the Terms in force at the time of booking confirmation shall apply.
